Mobile App Developer
DRYFT RWANDA
I build the mobile application for Dryft, a clean-mobility ride-hailing platform. My work includes developing ride-booking features, integrating backend APIs, creating reusable UI components, and implementing real-time trip updates. I handle state management, authentication, and app navigation while ensuring a smooth, responsive, and reliable experience for riders. I also collaborate with the backend and design teams to deliver high-quality mobile releases.
Lead Software Developer
Rwanda TVET Board
Led the development of multiple high-impact digital platforms supporting Rwanda’s national TVET ecosystem. Designed intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces while coordinating cross-functional development efforts. Delivered core systems including a centralized TVET Management System, an AI onboarding assistant, a pedagogy learning and certification platform, real-time progress tracking tools, multi-event registration systems, an accreditation workflow, and a job portal connecting TVET graduates to employers. Worked closely with backend teams to integrate secure authentication, role-based access, and scalable API architectures.
Frontend Developer Intern
Ministry of Education (MINEDUC)
Supported the digital transformation of a financial program serving educators by building member onboarding flows, multi-step registration forms, ID validation processes, and loan request modules. Collaborated with ministry staff to design dashboards for tracking loans, active members, and financial activity. Led UAT testing to validate workflows, document issues, and improve UX across key processes. Additionally built an event registration platform for the 4th EAC World Kiswahili Day, enabling seamless attendee sign-up and automatic badge generation.
Frontend Developer Intern
Office of the Prime Minister (Primature)
Contributed to the development of a government savings scheme platform by building responsive user interfaces, financial dashboards, and loan calculation modules. Worked closely with designers to translate Figma prototypes into production-ready components and collaborated with backend engineers to integrate secure APIs for savings, transactions, and authentication. Improved user flows for registration, loan applications, and activity tracking while ensuring consistency across mobile and desktop layouts.
